The intense, ethereal, characteristic aroma brings out hints of ripe red fruit. On the palate it is full and harmonious, pleasant. It is a wine that lends itself to an aging of at least 5 years in the bottle and tasted with second courses.

Tasting notes
Harvest: beginning of October, when the technical parameters relating to the maturity of the grapes are optimal. Crushing with destemming and fermentation in big containers with skins and selected yeasts at controlled temperature, till the transformation of the natural sugars of the grapes. Decantation of the skins and storage in suitable containers to guarantee a perfect maturation of the wine.
Starting from spring, after filtration, bottling of Piemonte DOC Barbera Appassimento, at cellar temperature.
Recommended consumption of Piemonte DOC Barbera Appassimento is within 5-6 years, guarantee a perfect ageing.
